CEHD Student Services has in-person appointments as well as appointments over Zoom, Google Hangouts or phone. Drop-in advising is available over Zoom.

CEHD Student Services includes several support resources that help you meet your academic and career goals:

CEHD Student Services partners with TRIO educational opportunity programs to support students from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds in the pursuit of a college degree. These programs include TRIO Student Support Services, which is part of President's Emerging Scholars, TRIO McNair, and TRIO Upward Bound.

CEHD Undergraduate Student Board

The CEHD Undergraduate Student Board promotes community building, student leadership, and interaction. Through events and community volunteering, the board supports current CEHD students in building friendships, making connections, and contributing our voices to CEHD leadership to improve the CEHD student experience.

CEHD Alumni Society Board Undergraduate Networking Event

The CEHD Alumni Society sponsors an annual networking event for CEHD undergraduate students to meet CEHD alumni working in a variety of professions.

CEHD is home, literally and metaphorically. I have worked in CEHD Student Services for more than two years and during that time I have gotten a chance to explore, evolve, and embrace my true self. Academic and wellness support resources

There are many student support resources at the U of M to help you succeed. Student Academic Success Services provides academic skills coaching and other resources and the Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence provides tutoring and other supports.

CEHD student specific resources

Each semester, the college publishes a Dean's List, which includes students who achieve a 3.666 GPA or higher, complete at least 12 A/F credits, and receive no N grades.

We send a monthly Career Services newsletter to all CEHD students with links to job and internship opportunities, events, and more. Second-year students receive a newsletter as part of the Second-Year Experience program. We also host events for CEHD commuter students.
