Meet school district and education organization representatives,
attend district presentations, and interview for jobs. The Minnesota Education Job Fair is open
to students and alumni from participating Minnesota colleges and
universities. Teachers must be licensed by December 2020. Education
services candidates (such as school counselors, speech therapists, school social workers, or school administrators) may also attend. The pre-registration fee is $20. After the deadline of March 25th, you can register at the fair for an on-site fee of $30. A breakfast buffet will be available for those who pre-register!
Register for the fair through Handshake.
Needs based waivers are available for students and alumni experiencing financial hardship. The deadline to complete this form is Thursday, March 19th.
The MN Education Job Fair is a great place to connect with districts and jump start your job search. It can also be intimidating to attend so we have complied some information to help you feel prepared and confident when approaching district representatives.
Each year, approximately 100 local, national, and international
education employers attend the MN Education Job Fair. They represent
school districts large and small and non-profit organizations who are
seeking qualified teacher candidates and education service professionals
(such as school counselors, speech therapists, school social workers, or
school administrators).
Visit the
MN
Education Job Fair’s employer webpage for more information about
participating school districts and education organizations that
interview on-site. Check this page frequently, as the list of employers
will increase as the event gets closer.
The U of M (Twin Cities) CEHD check-in table will open at 8:30 a.m. prior to the 9 a.m. presentations.
When you arrive, stop by the U of M table to pick up your name tag and other materials. Your name tag will act as your proof of admission. You will
be required to provide evidence of eligibility by presenting your U of M
student ID card or (unofficial) transcript.
